Our vision at Faro Home for Children is to create a world where every child has a loving and stable home. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. As a licensed non profit Community Care Facility for Children in California (Children’s CCF), we will provide 24-hour non-medical residential care to children with intellectual/developmental disabilities who need personal services, supervision, and/or assistance essential for self-protection or sustaining the activities of daily living.
Rose Belia's idea of opening a group home to help children in need started as a dream. She may have left us too early to see it happen, but now we are taking steps to make her dream a reality.
Father Rafael Davila has been a Maryknoll Missioner for 67 years, with a lot of that time focused in the Houston Texas region helping new immigrants keep in touch with their faith and grow stronger by forming communities, especially family focused groups.
Helping children by providing a supportive and safe environment is our goal.
It starts with a facility that will allow us to launch Rose's dream and start helping children in need.
Once we have the physical home in place, we will have licensed and trained staff to create a great atmosphere for the children.
"Help us provide a loving and caring environment for handicapped children. Your donation can make a difference."
